Eight Cylinder, overhead valve, twin iginition, with overdrive.
The twin ignition 6 and 8 cylinder motors have a row of plugs on each side of the engine. The plug wires run through a tunnel through the center of the block, from behind the distributor to the other side of the motor. Both plugs in a cylinder fire at the same time. The twin coils can be seen on the firewall. These are original, flat, caped top coils.
